The establishment of a market economy will inevitably lead to the change of the cultural mechanism. As an integral part of the culture, fine art and fine arts criticism must also intervene in the commodity market and the cultural market. Our study of the commodity value of fine art works and fine arts criticisms does not simply cut the law of market economy into the art field and make it mechanically adapted to the market economy.
