中国绘画以它典型的艺术特征与世界其它画种共存于人类,它是中华民族文化的精髓。象征着中华民族的文明与古老,和这个民族所具有的伟大才能。在漫长的历史变迁过程中,优秀的艺术家代不乏人,创造产生了大量的艺术珍品,丰富了这个世界。 生活在今天的我们都是这份伟大遗产的得天独厚的拥有者,我们有责任将其继承下来并予以发扬光大。要有选择地肯定传统,因为它是我们的根基,没有它我们将无法立足。选择的意义在于不盲从古人,师承传统,不能硬搬照抄,要取长舍短,古人的经验可以借鉴但不能依赖,不能人云亦云,要我有我法。食古不化,徒劳无益。 我认为一个真正的艺术家应该心胸宽宏,避尘远俗,要修炼自己的精神素质和思想境界,不能急功近利投机取巧,一声呐喊成名成家是绝对不可能的事情。画家必须在纯粹的实践过
