前几年,孟新宇在商丘办展览,事后他陪同我到豫东农村采风。一天,我们来到他的生活基地——虞城县老河村,这是一个类似黄泛区、不大富裕的平原村落。当时阴天,一切都是灰蒙蒙的,树不见绿,砖瓦不见红,全都被泥土包裹和浸染。在新宇的导引下,我们村头村里地转悠,我极力寻找新宇画中的影子。我这个受写实主义和印象派影响很深的人,在这村子里横看竖看、上看下看都找不到孟新宇那画中的青山绿水、蓝天白云的感觉来。我感叹,人与人之间的感觉、观察方法、内心的图式和审美取向的差异有多么大。 A few years ago, Meng Xinyu organized an exhibition in Shangqiu. Afterwards, he accompanied me to the rural folk songs in eastern Henan. One day, we came to his living base - Laohe Village, Yucheng County. This is a plains village similar to the Yellow River and not rich. At that time cloudy, everything was gray, the trees did not see the green, the brick does not see the red, all were wrapped in soil and disseminated. Under the guidance of Xinyu, we wandered around in the village of Murao. I tried very hard to find the shadow of Xinyu. My people who are deeply influenced by realism and Impressionism, I can not find the feeling of blue sky and clouds in Meng Xinyu’s painting in this village. I lamented how big the difference between people’s feelings, observation methods, inner schemas and aesthetic orientation.
