翻译活动是跨文化交流的桥梁。本文在阐释翻译活动与文化交融之间关系的基础上,回顾了中国历史上四次大规模翻译活动在中外文化交流融合中所起的重要作用。时至今日,翻译对推进中国文化现代性进程依然有着不可替代的作用。我们应该从中外文化交流融合的历史中吸取经验,充分认识翻译的跨文化意义,以文化研究为基础,以翻译活动为媒介,推动中外文化的交流与对话和中国文化的外译,在交流对话中弘扬中华文明。
Translation activities are the bridge of intercultural communication. On the basis of explaining the relationship between translation activities and cultural blending, this article reviews the important role played by four large-scale translation activities in the history of Chinese culture in the integration of Chinese and foreign cultures. To this day, translation still plays an irreplaceable role in advancing the process of Chinese cultural modernity. We should learn from the history of the fusion of Chinese and foreign cultures, fully understand the transcultural significance of translation, promote cultural exchange and dialogue with Chinese and foreign cultures based on cultural studies and translation activities, and exchange dialogues with Chinese culture Carry forward Chinese civilization.
