英国开放大学是享誉世界的远程开放大学,其先进的理念和成功的实践经验为全球远程教育的发展提供了弥足珍贵的借鉴。其2005/2006年度报告,从一贯遵循的对理念开放、对公众开放、对方法开放和对地域开放(下文简称“四个开放”)的角度,阐述了该校最新的科研成果和实践进展。本文拟对报告进行解读,探析其“四个开放”理念指导下的最新成就的成因,探讨其对中国远程教育发展的启示。
The Open University of the United Kingdom is a world-renowned long-distance open university. Its advanced concepts and successful practical experience provide a valuable reference for the development of global distance education. The 2005/2006 annual report elaborated on the latest achievements in scientific research and practice from the perspective of opening up to the public, being open to the public, open to the public and open to the region (hereinafter referred to as “four openness” progress. This article intends to interpret the report, explore the causes of its latest achievements under the guidance of the “four openness” concept, and discuss its implications for the development of China’s distance education.
