Stanley Kunetz’s poetry is particularly particular about the harmony of sound and the implication of meaning. For this reason, contemporary critics and poets, notably Rosick and Robert Lowell, regard Stanley Kunetz as a “The man who is powerful and subtly present in the poetry language of his time.” Despite Stanley Kunetz’s erudite and multi-award winning career, he has no time for some of the literati’s arrogance and domineering spirit. He is naturally tranquil, passionate about nature, and man’s good. Since 1971, he has often come back to poetry readings at the invitation of his hometown Worcester Poetry Association. On May 3, 1981, the day he read in his hometown was formally announced by the municipal government as “Stanley Kounets Day ”. In 1985, the city celebrated its 80th birthday with its five-day Poetry Festival in his name. The Fine Arts Center, founded in Provinstone, provides a context for learning and creation for young poets who are not at the university, sending a group of poets to the poetry community, including Louis Gluck, Susan Mitchell, Dennis Johnson, Yusef Koumenkayka, etc. came to the center when unknown, but now became a famous poet. The poet’s home he founded in New York also provided convenience for young poets. The first few translated here are the works of Couutts in recent years. In addition, along with Mark Finney’s “Stanley Kunetz”, the poet can not only understand some aspects of the poet’s life, but also understand the American critics of his poetry Evaluation.
