This article discusses the problem of metallogenic stochasticity, emphasizing that the metallogenic theory should be based on the idea of probability theory. The type of probability of element abundance depends on the geochemical nature of the environment in which it is placed: it is normal when the environment gives it a dull, while it is biased when it is lively. The probability distribution of the active elements after mineralization is positive biased and can be decomposed into several normals with high standard deviation with large standard deviation. The probability distribution of the degenerative elements after mineralization is negatively biased, and the normal and the active elements decomposed are the opposite. The ones with high mean value have small standard deviations. The spatial distribution of the deposit is controlled by the superposition of multi-stage mineralization and metallogenic factors, so it does not obey Poisson’s law and is negative binomial distribution.
