国家科学技术奖励大会2008年1月8日上午在北京隆重举行。党和国家领导人胡锦涛、温家宝等出席大会并为获奖代表颁奖。温家宝代表党中央、国务院在大会上讲话。李克强主持大会。中共中央政治局常委、国务院总理温家宝在讲话中代表党中央、国务院,向获奖的科技工作者表示热烈的祝贺,向全国广大科技工作者表示诚挚的问候和崇高的敬意,向长期关心和参与中国科技事业发展的国外科技工作者表示衷心的感谢。
National Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in Beijing on January 8, 2008 in the morning. Party and state leaders Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao attended the conference and presented awards to the winners. Wen Jiabao addressed the conference on behalf of the Party Central Committee and the State Council. Li Keqiang presided over the conference. In his speech, Wen Jiabao, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Premier of the State Council, expressed warm congratulations on behalf of the Central Party Committee and the State Council to the award-winning scientists and technicians, extended sincere greetings and noble respect to all the scientists and technicians in the country, expressed concern for and participated in the long- Foreign scientific and technological workers in science and technology development expressed their heartfelt thanks.
