初中教学工作当中的因材施教大致可以分为以下几个环节:学生水平的层次划分、制定不同层次的教学目标、分层次施教、分层次测试和评价。经过在教学当中的实践表明,因材施教这个老生常谈的课题,真正实施起来存在着一定的难度,尤其是在起步阶段。作为教师本身首先应该端正态度,努力学习和调整教学过程中的各种手段和方式。新课改后对教师的教学目标以及学生的全面发展,提出了新的要求,经过一段时间的钻研摸索,对于两极分化比较严重的班级,因材施教效果很明显。新课改后在初中语文的教学工作当中,实施因材施教进行分层次的教学是十分必要的,并且取得的教学效果非常理想。
