在激光或者电光物理学家与工程师的眼里,一般的高分辨率红外成象系统代表着复杂的红外光具、精密的高速机械(扫描系统)、先进的半导体物理技术(光子探测器)以及高速电子设备的结合。这种成象系统能够对来自光子探测器的信号进行放大,把它们按顺序组合起来,并且传输给显示装置一个可以测量的信号。红外成象系统一般可分为两种类型:扫描系统或者焦平面列阵系统。
In the eyes of laser or electro-optic physicists and engineers, typical high-resolution infrared imaging systems represent sophisticated infrared optics, sophisticated high-speed machinery (scanning systems), advanced semiconductor physics (photon detectors), and High-speed electronic equipment combined. This imaging system is capable of amplifying the signals from the photon detectors, combining them in sequence, and transmitting to the display a measurable signal. Infrared imaging systems generally fall into two categories: scanning systems or focal plane array systems.
