1 Foreword * The construction of high-rise buildings has made great progress in the study of excavation and support of deep foundation pits, and has accumulated a lot of valuable experience. However, the design theory of foundation pit support is still far from perfect. There are many problems that need further study and solution. The key to all problems is the calculation of the earth pressure on the flexible retaining wall. The determination of the earth pressure is related to the internal forces and deformation of the support structure system.
