玛纳斯为新疆北部重镇,有着丰富而悠久的历史。南北朝时期是玛纳斯历史上最为复杂的时期之一,始终处在几个强大的游牧民族政权与更迭频繁的中原政权激烈的角逐当中,认识这段历史对挖掘玛纳斯地方历史和新疆民族历史文化研究都有一定的意义。
Manas is a northern town of Xinjiang, has a rich and long history.
