1995年,董诗强任通海县委书记,两年多来,他不当县人武部挂名书记,真抓实干,使县人武部党委班子建设不断加强,武装工作迈上新台阶。部党委被地委、军分区党委评为先进党委,人武部曾被地委、行署命名为文明单位,民兵预备役工作受到省委、省政府、省军区的表彰。
