The “English Curriculum Standards” put forward: It is necessary to establish an evaluation system that can stimulate students’ interest in learning and the development of self-learning ability. The evaluation system consists of formative evaluation and final evaluation, and primary evaluation should be based on formative evaluation. Therefore, focusing on the development and application of a formative assessment aimed at exploring students’ potential for learning and developing their ability to learn independently is a reflection of every English educator
