青海省黄河流域不仅是黄河发源地,也是黄河流域主要产流区和水量的供给区之一,对黄河流域水资源可持续开发利用具有决定性影响.由于地处特殊地理位置和不利自然条件,生态修复尤为重要.生态修复范围可分为黄河河源区生态建设区、东部黄土高原水蚀生态建设区,通过对分区水土保持生态修复适宜性初步分析,认为水土保持生态修复是改善青海省黄河流域生态的有效途径之一.
