桑沟湾表层沉积物的化学分析结果表明,多数样品的全氮含量介于0.02-0.06%之间,有机质含量介于0.20-0.60%之间,磷含量介于0.10-0.30%之间.根据全氮和有机质的含量及C/N比值,我们认为桑沟湾基本属于氧化环境,这有利于生物的生长和繁殖.全氮和有机质的分布与底栖生物量有关.磷的分布可能与物质来源和水动力条件有关.为了解决物质来源问题,应对周围几条大河进行取样分折,这对搞好水产养殖也是十分重要的.
