The renewed upsurge in neural networks has led to the exploration and study of various adaptive optimization algorithms such as simulated annealing (SA), genetic algorithms (GA), and evolutionary program-ming (EP) or simulated evolution. Like G A, E P is also based on the Darwinian principle of “survival of the fittest”, but it uses “asexual reproduction” of offspring born from a single parent. In E P, individuals do not have to compile a binary code string as in GA, but can freely choose the table of information according to the different tasks
