The details of the all-digital nuclear medicine sector have been previously elaborated. The radionuclide image captured by the gamma camera is processed by a microcomputer. The remote display terminals are set within the main interpretation range. These terminals include a video monitor, an image quality controller, and a keyboard. The digital research method is to permanently input the result into a 300-megabyte disk through a disk drive connected to the PDP11/34 computer. The primary index can quickly obtain any research result. Current research content is stored on a 30 megabyte disk drive and connected to a display computer. The translation of nuclear medicine research content is included in the high-speed telephone access system. The sound is digitized and stored in an 80 megabyte disk drive. The medical staff concerned can use any telephone to enter the system, then dial the number of the patient’s identity, and then they can choose to listen to the patient’s report.
