历经十余年的努力,我国多数初中学校已具有一定规模和实力,提高教育质量、追求办学效益将成为学校的主要目标,能否实现这个目标的关键在于是否具有了高质量的师资及其作用的充分发挥。鉴于目前不少学校师资队伍建设远远滞后于设施建设,已严重制约了初中学校的进一步发展。因此,建设一支高素质的师资队伍正是实施学校素质教育的根本保证。那么,如何培养教师队伍,有效提高他们的业务素质,便成了办好学校及其推进素质教育的一个关键问题,本文就此问题谈一些基本的思路。
