茶红锈藻病又称红锈病,是近几年来在丘陵山区茶园中发生发展较快、危害较重的一种枝叶病害。1974年以来初步调查,我省平江、长沙、益阳、桃江、安化、桃源、涟源、双丰、岳阳、临湘等茶区发生较普遍。浙江、安徽、广东、广西、江西、贵州、四川等省茶区也有报导。此病主要侵害1—5年生枝条,引起茶树落叶枯枝,如不及时处理,任其连年为害,则茶树生长势逐年衰弱,终致成片茶树枯死。根据我所茶园中1978—1980年的观察,在二队茶园中发病率高达78.58%.感染指数35.74%,其中个别 Red rust algae tea, also known as red rust, is a kind of foliage disease which occurs fast and harms in tea plantations in hilly mountains in recent years.
