11月11日～12日,省计委、省林业局在涿鹿县联合召开了河北省京津风沙源治理暨退耕还林(草)工程工作会议,省委常委、常务副省长郭庚茂在题为《抓住机遇强化管理确保完成京津风沙源治理暨退耕还林(草)任务》的讲话中说,2002年国家下达给我省张承两地区退耕还林(草)任务170万亩,其他的林业建设项目保持与2001年同等水平。国家投资为3.5亿元。我省太行山、燕山山区各县也将纳入工程范围,退耕任务达40万亩。全省匹配荒山荒地造林200万亩。这标志着我省京津风沙源治理和退耕还林(草)工程由试点走向全面推开。
