Ma Yi， 57 year old with Hui na- tionality background（born in April 1959）， whose career never left Henan province. He had served as secretary of Luoyang municipal group， and then served as the Luoyang municipal Party committee propaganda minister， deputy secretary of the discipline committee， etc..
　　He was third one to assume the office of the provincial capital city’s municipal Party committee secretary position. On April 18th， Dahe network has reported that held the “Henan Province Industrial Cluster Working Conference”， Ma Yi identified his debut as the secretary of Zhengzhou Municipal Party Committee and gave a speech on behalf of Zhengzhou City.
　　In 2003， Ma Yi was transferred to the provincial capital Zhengzhou to serveas Deputy Secretary of municipal Party committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission；In the year 2006， he was promoted to be the Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party committee and gained his municipal departmental level official position at the age of 47；In 2010， he has been raised as the director of environmental protection for provincial government for one year； By the end of 2011， he returned to Zhengzhou city to be succession for former vice governor of Henan Province， Zhao Jiancai and served as Deputy Secretary of Zhengzhou city， acting mayor. Later on he was admitted as the mayor in the second year. After nearly ten years’ departmental level job experience， Ma Yi finally became the member of Standing Committee of provincial Party committee， and joined into the deputy provincial-level cadres. Since then， he was expected to be the second standing Secretary of the Henan Provincial Committee with Hui nationality background.
