为了缓解超负荷的城市公共交通,发挥上海经济中心城市和国际港口城市功能,1991年1月19日国务院同意国家计委批复正式开工建设上海地铁1号线.正线总长16.1公里.线路走向:南自锦江乐园经新龙华、漕宝路、上海体育馆、徐家汇沿衡山路折入淮海中路,经嵩山路、人民广场向北经新闸路,穿越苏州河至铁路上海站.全线设置锦江乐园、新龙华、漕宝路、上海体育馆、徐家汇、衡山路、常熟路、陕西南路、黄陂南路、人民广场、新闸路、汉中路、铁路上海站13座车站.平均站距1.238公里.除锦江乐园和新龙华站为地面车站外,其余均为地下车站.
In order to relieve the overload of urban public transport and give play to the functions of Shanghai’s economic center city and international port city, the State Council agreed with the State Development Planning Commission to formally start the construction of Shanghai Metro Line 1 on January 19, 1991. The total length of the main line is 16.1 kilometers. South from Jinjiang Paradise through the new Longhua, Caobao Road, Shanghai Stadium, Xujiahui along Hengshan Road into the Huaihai Zhong Road, via Songshan Road, People’s Square north of Xinzha Road, across the Suzhou River Railway Station in Shanghai. Set across the board Jinjiang Paradise, Xinlonghua, Caobao Road, Shanghai Stadium, Xujiahui, Hengshan Road, Changshu Road, Shaanxi South Road, Huangpi South Road, People’s Square, Xinzha Road, Hanzhong Road, Shanghai Railway Station 13 stations. The average station distance of 1.238 km. And the new Longhua station for the ground station, the rest are underground stations.
