余红1号系杂交育成,母本为余金6号,父本红410。1978年晚季杂交,于1982年晚季(F_8)在长沙获得优良定型株系,1984年定名为余红1号,1989年通过认定。 1983至1984年在湖南农学院实验农场进行品种比较试验,余红1号亩产分别为529.1公斤和512.5公斤,比对照余赤231-8分别增产27.26％和34.87％,达极显著水平。1985年进行多点试验, 5个点平均亩产417.5公斤,比对照余赤231-8增产19.1％,
Yuhong 1 was bred by hybridization and the female parent was Yujin 6 and Puberty red 410. The late-season hybridization was conducted in 1978 and the fine-setting strain was obtained in Changsha in late 1982 (F_8). In 1984, it was named as Yuhong 1 Number, in 1989 approved. From 1983 to 1984, comparative experiments were conducted on experimental farms in Hunan Agricultural College. The yield per mu of Yuhong 1 was 529.1 kg and 512.5 kg, respectively, up 27.26% and 34.87% respectively over the control Yuqi 231-8, reaching extremely significant levels.
