资本过海,思想要随行包括国有企业在内的中国企业正以前所未有的速度走向世界,通过海外投资获取技术、品牌、市场,在全球范围内整合对自己有利的资源。这是中国走向经济强国的必由之路。然而,和本世纪初中国经济飞速崛起时国际舆论充斥着“中国威胁论”一样,海外监管机构和社会舆论对中国海外投资有很多质疑和非难。一些主要东道国对中国投资的审批要求趋紧,一些制定中的区域性投资新规则也将使中国投资遭遇更大挑战。 Capital Across the Sea, Accompanying Ideas Chinese companies, including state-owned enterprises, are moving toward the world at an unprecedented speed. They acquire technology, brands and markets through overseas investment and integrate resources that are favorable to themselves on a global scale. This is the only way for China to become an economic power. However, like the “China threat theory” at the time when China’s economy boomed rapidly at the turn of the century, overseas regulators and public opinion held many questions and blame for China’s overseas investment. Some major host countries have tightened their approval requirements for Chinese investments and some new rules for regional investment in their formulation will also pose greater challenges to Chinese investment.
