紫草萘醌单体分离物-LⅢ(简称紫草素),是从中草药紫草中提纯的一种新的有效成份。本实验应用多项指标,检测了紫草素对人胃癌和人食管癌来源的两种细胞系的抗癌生物效应。实验显示:在紫草素剂量为3~5μg/ml 的条件下,癌细胞的生长曲线、分裂指数均受抑制,而人来源的正常细胞未见明显影响;在剂量为5~10μg/ml 情况下,癌细胞的集落形成率受到抑制。紫草素的抗癌生物学效应可能与它降低癌细胞 RNA 含量以及对癌细胞超微结构的影响有关。
Lithospermum erythropolis monomer isolate-LIII (referred to as shikonin) is a new effective ingredient purified from the herb Lithospermum. This experiment used a number of indicators to detect the anti-cancer biological effects of shikonin on human gastric cancer and human esophageal cancer-derived two cell lines. Experiments show that under the condition of 3~5μg/ml shikonin, the growth curve and mitotic index of cancer cells are all inhibited, but normal cells of human origin have no obvious effect; the dose is 5~10μg/ml The colony formation rate of cancer cells was suppressed. The anti-cancer biological effects of shikonin may be related to its lowering of cancer cell RNA content and its effect on the ultrastructure of cancer cells.
