热风炉胆最常遇到的是上法兰与内筒焊接处开裂、内筒纵向焊缝下部开裂及筒壁开裂。另外,纵向筒壁易产生变形,往往不成直线,有一圈向里突出。如图1。产生开裂的主要原因是炉胆结构不合理: 1.原膨胀圈起不到应有的作用。炉胆内筒与高温炉气接触,下部靠近熔化带,温度可达1000℃,钢板的线膨胀按1%计算,1350mm高的内筒要伸长14mm。外筒温度也不过只有180℃左右,伸长很少。这时,内筒带动上法兰向上伸长,而原膨胀圈无法弥补这个伸长量,又受到炉胆上部炉身重量的影响无法再向
