Flying out of the gold phoenix in the gully According to “Fortune” magazine’s 2002 list of world’s top 500 companies, US retailer Wal-Mart ranked first. Its development speed is amazing, knowing that 30 years ago, its predecessor was just a humble rural grocery store. Wal-Mart’s entrepreneur, Sam Walton, was a family of ordinary Midwestern peasants. After finishing his studies at the university, he set up a grocery store in Bentonville, a remote area on the northwestern tip of Arkansas. Finally, it made it the world’s first. Sam’s legendary experience eclipsed the era of high technology. He is rich in the United States, but he lives in a simple life. He believes in piety and treats kindness and is known as a great entrepreneur and leader.
