钱君匋先生生于一九零六年,二十年代任开明书店音乐、美术编辑。结识鲁迅后,受鲁迅美术思想影响,从中国民间艺术、版画、古代雕刻,汉砖瓦像等吸收艺术营养进行书籍装帧创作和设计,其风格典雅古朴、婉约含蓄,一时钱封面与中国新文学大师的著作相映成辉,鲁迅、郭沫若、茅盾、巴金、郁达夫、叶圣陶、郑振铎等一个个响亮的名字和他们的著作都由钱封面的包装后被载入史册。然而,钱君匋先生自己也是诗人、散文家和音乐家,他所创作的新诗和散文,在新文学最辉煌的时期(一九二七年——一九三七年),闪烁出光芒,在现代文学史上留下重要的篇章,被称之为现代作家中坚力量。 在钱君匋先生长达七十多年的艺术生涯中,从事艺术创作和教育出版,大致可划分为三个阶段,前半生主要贡献于中国新文运动,宣传抗日、教育和出版。而晚年则全身心致力于中国画、书法和篆刻,同样成就斐然,影响深远。
Mr. Qian Junlian was born in 1906, he became the bookstore music and art editor in the 1920s. After he got acquainted with Lu Xun, influenced by Lu Xun’s art thoughts, he created and designed the book binding from the absorption of artistic nutrition by Chinese folk art, printmaking, ancient carvings, and Chinese brick and tile figures. The style is simple and graceful, The works of the master phase Ying-Hui Cheng, Lu Xun, Guo Moruo, Mao Dun, Ba Jin, Yu Dafu, Ye Shengtao, Zheng Zhenduo and other loud names and their writings are enveloped by the money after the cover is loaded into the annals. However, Mr. Qian Junlu himself is also a poet, essayist and musician. His new poems and essays sparkled in the most brilliant period of new literature (1927-1937) The history of modern literature left an important chapter, known as the backbone of modern writers. In his 70-year artistic career, Mr. Qian has engaged in arts creation and education and publication. It can be roughly divided into three stages. The first half of his life mainly contributed to the Chinese New Text Movement, promoting anti-Japanese, education and publication. In his later years, he dedicated himself to Chinese painting, calligraphy and seal cutting equally equally successful and far-reaching.
