举世闻名的中国工农红军二万五千里长征,是人类有史以来前所未有的伟大壮举。在铸造长征这座无比辉煌的丰碑中,从一组数字可看出闽西人民所作的重要贡献:闽西近3万子弟兵参加了长征,约占中央红军长征总人数的三分之一;漫漫征途中,绝大部分献出了宝贵的生命,到陕北时,仅剩下2000余人。闽西儿女以鲜血和生命谱写了壮丽的诗篇。在红军长征的史册上,记载着闽西人民的重大贡献。
The world-famous Long March of the Red Army in China’s workers and peasants, which is unprecedented in history, is a great feat. In casting this marvelous monument to the Long March, it can be seen from a set of figures the important contribution made by the people in Western Fujian: Nearly 30,000 soldiers in Minxi took part in the Long March, accounting for about one-third of the total number of the Long March of the Central Red Army. During the journey, most of them gave their precious lives. When they arrived in northern Shaanxi, they left over 2,000 people. Minxi children to compose a magnificent poem with blood and life. In the annals of the Long March of the Red Army, the great contribution of the people in western Fujian is recorded.
