三价口服脊髓灰质炎疫苗（TOPV）的效果在热带地区比温带地区差,但可以通过增加免疫次数等多种方法提高其免疫原性。目前有关TOPV免疫次数超过6次的报道很少。而古巴的做法提供了进行血清中和抗体阳性率与免疫次数关系研究的机会。
The effect of the trivalent oral polio vaccine (TOPV) is worse in the tropics than in the temperate zones, but immunization can be improved by a number of methods such as increasing the number of immunizations. There are few reports of more than 6 immunizations against TOPV at present. Cuba’s practice provided an opportunity to study the relationship between the positive rate of serum neutralizing antibodies and the number of immunizations.
