深圳市大工业区是市政府于1994年7月设立的一个大型工业基地,总规划面积174.4平方公里,覆盖龙岗区坪山、坑梓两镇。设立大工业区是市委、市政府为优化产业结构,调整工业布局,拓展产业发展空间,协调特区内外发展,开辟新的经济增长点而作出的重大决策。几年来,大工业区招商引资取得了突破性进展,36家大型企业入驻工业区,大工业区已成为我市新的经济增长点。在当前我市精简机构的形势下,市公安局增设大工业区分局,表明了市委、市政府对提高行政效率、改善投资环境的决心。大工业区作为深圳市的一个新的经济增长点,其持续、健康、稳步的发展,有助于社会治安的稳定。深圳市公安局大工业区分局的成立,为大工业区的全面建设、发展,提供了强有力的治安稳定保障。
