学习六中全会《关于建国以来党的若干历史问题的决议》和胡耀邦同志的讲话,又值建党六十周年之际,引起我对许多往事的回忆。人至暮年,常爱回忆。这次学习《决议》,很自然地使我回忆起与毛主席、周总理等老一辈无产阶级革命家的接触,以及他们对我的关怀和教诲,我的心情是很不平静的。我第一次见到毛主席和周总理,是在新疆和平解放以后,1950年5月到北京参加全国政协第二次会议的时候。新疆的和平解放,完全是在党的伟大的民族政策的感召之 Studying the Sixth Plenary Session, “Several Resolutions on the Party’s History since the Founding of the People’s Republic of China,” and Comrade Hu Yaobang’s speech and the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of the CPC, have aroused my memories of many past events.
