Invista has licensed its R2R recycling technology to Ariha Chemical’s PTA plant in India to optimize waste recovery. The unit will be the first standalone R2R recovery unit licensed under Invista technology with an initial capacity of 35,000 tpa of PTA and is expected to start production by the end of 2014. Ariha plans to use this technology to recover the remaining terephthalic acid, toluic acid and benzoic acid in PTA waste streams. According Invista
