前不久在某报看到一文《谈谈CPU的极限》,对于一些常见的、特别是前两年一些“老”CPU的使用“极限”问题进行了一些讨论,对“芯”已老但又喜好超频的朋友,或是一些初学者,具有一定的参考价值。但对于其中的一些结论,笔者不敢苟同。文中谈到,AMD的K6-233是“第一个能在100MHz外频下进入到POST的CPU”。并且谈到在Disable Cache的情况下,系统在内存测试后死机。文中得出一个结论-Socket 7 CPU“在不考虑Cache的情况下,CPU的外频确实有100MHz的限制”。而根据笔者的实际经验Socket7 CPU是否有100MHz的限制,不能说与CPU
