The revitalization of the combination of architectural and technological heritage in the Old City has inspired a much broader renaissance. The boutique hotel and textile center project in the Kashang historical district of Isfahan Province restored a 19th-century merchant residence. This house is a typical historic residence in the area, but most of it has been completely dumped.
