本研究采用了定性与定量相结合的研究方法,通过对英语专业初始阶段体验过内容依托教学(CBI)的班级进行课堂观察,以及对学生进行问卷调查和半结构化访谈采集研究数据,重点关注了英语专业初始阶段CBI教学模式下学生面临的学习问题及其应对策略。研究发现,主要问题涉及语音学习、词汇学习、语言技能练习、学习材料的选择、课堂参与、对内容的理解和掌握、对课程的认识等方面。本文提出了应对问题的一些有效策略并进行了数据分析。相关研究结果为学生更加有效地学习CBI课程以及CBI任课教师日后的教学提供了有益的启示,也为我国英语专业进一步开展内容依托教学提供了有益的启示。
In this study, a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, through the initial stage of English majors experienced content-based teaching (CBI) classes for classroom observation, as well as students survey questionnaires and semi-structured interview collection of research data, focusing on The Learning Problems Faced by Students in CBI Teaching Mode during the Initial Stage of English Majors and Countermeasures. The study found that the main problems involved in phonetic learning, vocabulary learning, language skills training, the choice of learning materials, classroom participation, content understanding and mastery, understanding of the curriculum and so on. This paper presents some effective strategies to deal with the problem and analyzes the data. The results of the research provide useful enlightenment for students to learn CBI curriculum more effectively and the teaching of CBI teachers in the future, and also provide useful enlightenment for our English major to further carry out content-based teaching.
