6月3-8日,在美国波士顿举行了全球最大规模的显示器国际学会大会“2012 SID IntemationalSymposium,Seminar&Exhibition”(SID 2012),今年的SID 2012更是迎来了50周年。在今年的SID大会中,我们看到了不少有机EL产品登场,而且还有各种即将量产的智能手机和电视产品在本次大会上出现。目前液晶技术制作的显示面板,将以进一步提高性能来对抗有机EL(Organic Electro-Luminescence:OEL)。在本次大会上,我们就看到了不少大型面板和中小型面板采用高精细化制作技术,尤其是中小型面板,分辨率超过600ppi的产品已经面世。同时不少学者认为:“有机EL显示器将是继LCD之后,最被看好的显示技术之一”。目前有机EL的主要市场集中在手持设备之中,例如我们所使用的不少手机和平板电脑,都是采用了有机EL作屏幕显示面板。
From June 3-8, the world’s largest monitor international conference “2012 SID International Symposium, Seminar & Exhibition” (SID 2012) was held in Boston, USA, marking the fiftieth anniversary of SID 2012 this year. At this year’s SID conference, we saw a lot of organic EL products debut, but also a variety of upcoming smartphones and TV products appear in this conference. At present, liquid crystal display panels are manufactured to further improve performance against organic EL (Organic Electro-Luminescence: OEL). At this conference, we saw a lot of large panels and small and medium-sized panels using high-precision production technology, especially small and medium-sized panels, resolution of more than 600ppi products have been available. At the same time, many scholars think: “organic EL display will be the LCD, one of the most promising display technology ”. At present, the main market for organic EL is concentrated in hand-held devices. For example, many mobile phones and tablets we use adopt organic EL as the screen display panel.
