作为人文社科领域一门新兴的学科,社会性别语言学带有鲜明的时代特征,其形成轨迹与西方女性主义的三次浪潮如影随形,并行不悖。从生理决定论到缺陷论、支配论、差异论再到社会性别建构论,直至社会性别语言学理论的确立,社会性别语言学经历了早期的生物学和生理学研究、中期的二元对立研究、后期的后现代主义哲学视觉的多元性别建构研究等不同发展时期,深受各种哲学思想和不同研究方法的影响与驱策。
As a new subject in the field of humanities and social sciences, gender linguistics has distinct characteristics of the times. Its trajectory and the three tides of Western feminism go hand in hand. From the physiological determinism to the defect theory, the dominant theory and the difference theory to the gender constructivism, until the establishment of the gender linguistic theory, the gender linguistics has undergone the early biological and physiological studies, the mid-term binary opposition studies, Postmodernist philosophical vision of the diversity of gender construction research at different stages of development, by a variety of philosophical ideas and different research methods influence and drive.
