本文以期通过叙事学的方式分析《少年派的奇幻漂流》小说与电影的差异。故事的主导母题是限域间的界线,它是推动故事情节发展的首要动力。作为一个静态人物,派的性格特征自始至终没有发生变化——他始终迷恋任何形式的限域,甚至名字派(π)都在暗示一个圆形的限域,这使得小说的第一个故事具有更高的可信度。然而,电影的改编降低了作者的可信度,让电影观众更容易怀疑第一个故事的真实性,从而引发一场关于信任的道德危机。
In this paper, through the way of narratology, this paper analyzes the differences between the fantasy drifting novel and the film of the youth school. The dominant theme of the story is the boundary between the limits, which is the primary motivation for the development of the storyline. As a static character, the school’s character traits have not changed from beginning to end - he has always obsessed with any form of confinement, and even the name school (π) implies a circular confinement, which makes the novel’s first story more High credibility. However, the adaptation of the movie reduces the author’s credibility and makes it easier for moviegoers to question the authenticity of the first story, triggering a moral crisis of trust.
