本文在感知学习风格和学习策略相关理论的基础上,使用Reid(1987)的感知学习风格量表和Oxford(1990)的语言学习策略量表调查分析了269名理工科专业新生的感知学习风格偏好和语言学习策略使用状况,并探讨了学习风格偏好与学习策略使用差异对英语学习和教学的影响。研究结果将帮助英语教师和理工科学生了解自身学习风格以及学习策略的长处及局限性,在今后大学英语的学习过程中选择合适的多样的教学及学习方法。
Based on the theories of perceived learning style and learning strategies, this paper uses Reid’s (1987) perceived learning style questionnaire and Oxford’s (1990) language learning strategy questionnaire to investigate the perception learning style preferences of 269 science and engineering undergraduates And the use of language learning strategies, and explores the impact of differences in learning style preferences and learning strategies on English learning and teaching. The results of this study will help English teachers and science students understand the strengths and limitations of their learning styles and learning strategies and choose suitable teaching and learning methods in the process of college English learning.
