Basal like breast carcinoma (BLBC) accounts for 7.5% to 36.7% of all breast cancers, and has attracted widespread attention in recent years due to the more aggressive clinical behavior of tumors expressing basal cell markers. The immunophenotype of BLBC is ER, PR, Her-2(-), CK5/6(+), and/or EGFR(+). However, the molecular mechanism of the disease is still unclear and there is still no effective treatment strategy. The p16 gene acts directly on the cell cycle.
