作者曾以西华山钨矿矿石为试样,研究该矿石按公式Q=Kd。计算样品最小重量需要的K值和α值。对该矿石而言,K=0.09,α=2。研究方法是:取原矿样960公斤,破碎至-16毫米(称d_A),分成A、B两个试样。B试样再破碎至-10毫米(称d_B)。先把上述两个试样分别依次缩分至60公斤,然后再把它们分别缩分成60、30、15、7.5、3.75、1.88、0.94、0.47、0.235公斤等9个重量不同的样品,组成两组试样。每个试样分成4个重量相等的小样并制成分析样。以4个小样的平均品位作为该试样的品位。两组试样化学分析及计算结果列于下表。
