Fifth Archie Meeting, “Visualization Technology for Discovering and Developing More Oil and Gas Resources” brings together 130 science and technology experts to discuss current and future visualization technologies that will be developed and used in petroleum Industrial and other industries. The visualization technology in the oil and gas industry can be viewed as a tool to characterize and recognize the phenomena of surface and subsurface. In addition to making it easier for people to observe and understand large amounts of data, visualization technologies have significantly improved communications and, as a result, enhanced communication among members of the entire exploration and development community. Current and potential visualization technologies The most important aspects that end users consider most important include: Common formats for data interchange and comparative ease of use for consultants and independent users; Larger bandwidths drive more power Machines; and applying sensitivity analysis to the uncertainty of the visualization documents at all scales. Although visual technology is still in its work year, it has grown so rapidly that it can have a large impact on many aspects of the oil industry, from improving everyday communications to better technology transfer and more powerful interpretive functions, All of this will ultimately result in a better economic decision.
