浙派人物画是1949年后中国人物画的一个重要流派。初创浙派人物画的三位意笔画家李震坚、周昌谷、方增先,李震坚先生年龄最长。李震坚先生1950年毕业于杭州的国立艺术专科学校,他将毕业时周昌谷与方增先等进校,方增先毕业时刘文西进校,刘文西毕业不久我进校。对浙派人物画的探索,李震坚先生相对早些,而正式提出“浙派人物画”的起缘,是周昌谷《两个羊羔》的获奖和方增先的几张作品在全国的反响,当时三位浙派人物画创始人的画风已影响全国。因此可以说,李震坚先生是1949后中国人物画的奠基者之一。1949年新中国成立后,中国人物画面临如何为时代服务,如何与时俱进的问题,要求新时代的画家尽快从纯粹传统的绘画中脱颖
