景区工艺品设计的特点是代表了地域文化的特色标识,也是人们在旅游过程中购买纪念品的买点。如何让传统的景区工艺品保持经久不衰、受人青睐、销量走俏的生命力,抓住人们购买心理的买点是关键。要顺应时代审美趋势,给予民族设计元素新的生命力,设计才能永立不败之地,设计必须推陈出新,因而设计的创新尤为关键。首先,应该基于传说,研发新品创新,改良景区工艺品的传统种类,发挥新生代的设计力量;其次要基于材质,研发材料创新,以满足不同层次的大众审美需求。
