光纤是当今最新颖的一种有线通信媒介,具有电缆不可比拟的优点,如传输频带宽、不受电磁辐射干扰、保密性好,因此,它在通信的许多领域内已得到广泛应用,计算机网引入光纤已是势在必行。由光纤组成的计算机网类似于电缆计算机网,也有总线型、星形、环型等几种结构。本文根据于1986年实现的Ethernet四站点光纤网,着重对总线型的光纤计算机网进行论述。
Optical fiber is the most novel kind of wired communication media today. It has the incomparable advantages of cables, such as wide transmission frequency band, no interference from electromagnetic radiation and good confidentiality. Therefore, it has been widely used in many fields of communication. The introduction of optical fiber is imperative. Computer network composed of optical fibers similar to the cable computer network, there are bus type, star, ring and other structures. Based on the Ethernet four-site fiber network realized in 1986, this paper mainly discusses the bus-type optical fiber computer network.
