四年前,当京都一名服刑的犯人因救落水儿童而身亡的消息见诸报端,关于这名犯人能否被授予“革命烈士”称号的议论便纷纷扬扬。有读者获悉这名犯人最终未被批准为革命烈士后,遂撰文称,对一个人的功过是非,是分阶段分层次评价还是一以贯之,这是东西方的差异也是东方中国对人性评价面临的困境。在批烈问题上,东方的中国真是面临这样的困境么?
