我所、北京队与人工晶体研究所协作研制的复合片钻头,经过半年多的努力,设计出将近十种类型,制作出数十个钻头,在室内试验台的钻进试验和去广东、辽宁等地野外队进行的生产试验,已获得初步成效。如在辽宁地质公司102队二号机台,在荣官石膏矿区的下寒武纪紫色条带状粉砂质页岩中,当孔深375.67m时,下入1403~#复合片钻头进行试验,获得钻头总进尺73.07m及平均实测时效1.27m/时的记录,比该机台采用的人造聚晶钻头进尺及时效都有较大的提高。1403~#复合片钻头尚可再使用。从复合片钻头在中硬以下岩层试验钻进中反映出来的优越性,可以为当前公司推广绳索取心钻进提供合适的钻头,弥补中硬以下地层金刚石钻头的空白。
