The second academic exchange meeting of the Geotechnical Testing Institute of the six provinces and cities of East China was held in Nanjing from November 25 to 28, 1987. At the meeting, Comrade Huang Yaowen, deputy director of the Jiangsu Province Metrology and Measurement Association and deputy director of the Jiangsu Provincial Metrology Bureau, summarized the scientific and technical personnel of the factories, mines, scientific research institutes, universities, and metrology departments in East China after the first academic exchange meeting in 1984. The work done in quantitative testing fully affirmed the achievements. And analyzed the situation, put forward tasks, and encouraged everyone to develop and perfect China.
